LA Foodie Diary: Day 3 – What I Ate & Drank Today 🍽️☕️
【Eats】 📍 Lola Café A hidden gem for brunch in Eagle Rock! Not widely mentioned, but every dish impressed. 🥪 Carnita Tortas – Slow-braised pork piled on a crispy-yet-soft bagel, with amazing texture contrast. 🍳 Salmon Omelette – Fluffy eggs wrapped around tender salmon, rich but balanced with a hint of cream. 🧇 Churro Waffles with Fruit – My favorite! Crispy waffles infused with cinnamon and sugar like churros, topped with fresh fruit—perfectly sweet and aromatic. 🍓✨ 📍 Rong He Sichuan Cuisine Simply legendary! 🐟🌶️ We ordered: Mao Cai Duck, Salted Egg Yolk Corn, Double Pepper Crispy Tripe, Couple’s Beef Slices, Spicy Chicken, and Sichuan Peppercorn Beef Tongue. Fair warning: dining in beats takeout—the flavors are brighter and the textures just hit different! 【Drinks】 Sipped on Lola Café’s Dulce de Leche Latte (half sweet)—smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of caramel richness. ☕️💛 Another delicious day exploring LA’s food scene—from cozy brunch corners to fiery Sichuan classics. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s finds! #LAFoodie #BrunchSpot #HiddenGem #SichuanFood #EagleRockEats #FoodDiary #Day3 #EatLA #CoffeeTime #SpicyLovers 🥢🔥
