🦀 LA K-Town Food – You’d Be Crazy to Miss This Spot! 😋
Went to Crab House originally for the raw marinated crab, but after trying everything… the crab had to step aside – it was all SO GOOD! You’ll easily start with two bowls of rice 🍚😭 🍲 Seafood Hot Pot The broth is insanely flavorful! What sets it apart from other seafood soups is that the taste really comes from fresh seafood – not just seasoning. Drank multiple bowls and didn’t feel thirsty afterward. Loaded with abalone, scallops, squid, octopus, fish chunks, and radish. Would be even more perfect with some cabbage! 🥬 🐙 Stir-Fried Baby Octopus Unexpectedly delicious! Each baby octopus was super tender and bouncy 🐙💥. Mixed with spicy sauce, cabbage, and onions – the ultimate rice-topper! I even took the leftover sauce home and stir-fried it with more cabbage – absolutely addictive! 🍛 🍚 Uni Bowl (Sea Urchin Rice) The menu lists various sizes, but currently only medium is available. Basically gone in two bites! Uni, fish roe, and seaweed mixed with rice – one mouthful gives you the pop of roe and the freshness of uni 🌊👌 🐟 Salmon Head Stew Salmon head doesn’t have much meat – the soul of this dish is the radish and the savory broth. Another rice killer! Honestly, every dish here makes you want a giant bowl of rice 🍚⚡ 🦀 Soy Marinated Crab & Seafood Pancake were also amazing. Marinated crab in K-Town often tastes similar across restaurants – as long as it’s fresh and the sauce isn’t too salty, it’s a win.
