🌟 LA Michelin｜Citrin — A Summer Night Flavor Journey 🍅

Citrin is the sister restaurant to Melisse and also holds a Michelin star. Their Dine LA menu is great value — just $99, literally a can’t-miss deal. Dine LA ends 8/8, so grab it while you can! We ordered different dishes, so we got to try 7 courses in total 🍽️. 🍅 Tomato Soup + Strawberry Sorbet Summer’s first bite — cool strawberry sorbet paired with tomato tartare, tangy and refreshing. Ice cream + hot soup = a perfect hot-and-cold contrast. The tomato broth and strawberry sorbet blend beautifully — like a cool sunset on a sunny day. 🍊 Citrus Cured Kampachi Perfectly cured kampachi with green mango and ginger-pineapple — fruity, layered, and refreshingly light. 🐟 Vermilion Rockfish "Ikejime" Ikejime-prepared rockfish — tender and bouncy — with summer beans and lemon basil. Tastes like an early summer garden. 🦞 Lobster Bolognese The most luxurious player of the night. Handmade thin pasta + Maine lobster + truffle foam — unbelievably aromatic. Seriously, the best pasta I’ve ever had (and I’ve had it in Italy)!! 🦆 Wolfe Ranch Quail Char-grilled quail, firm and smoky, paired with black figs and turnips — slightly sweet with a hint of wine. Great for game lovers. 🥩 Snake River Farms Sirloin Perfectly seared U.S. sirloin with balanced sweet-sour Bermuda onion and carrots. The umami sauce was a huge plus. 🍑 Yellow Peach and Yuzu "Pie" A floral, tangy dream to end. Yuzu, yellow peach, lavender, with goat milk yogurt — creamy yet bright.
