LA Really Fed Me Well (Like, REALLY Well) 😭🇺🇸🍽️

I came to LA for the sun but stayed for the FOOD. Here's a mega dump of everything that destroyed me (in the best way) 🤤👇 📍Thai Culture Cuisine 🇹🇭 Ordered: Raw shrimp salad (SO sour and spicy—add some green papaya and you basically have som tum), coconut milk tom yum soup (not my fave personally, seafood wasn't super fresh), and Thai basil pork over rice (fried rice version? So good). 📍Gamja Gol 🍖 THIS PORK BONE SOUP. 55555 😭 There's a Chinese auntie working there, you can speak Mandarin with her and it's so heartwarming. Add PERILLA LEAVES to the potato pork bone soup—LIFE CHANGING. Also super affordable. High value king 👑 📍Kingchang LA 🔥 The grilled meat and beef intestines here? INSANE. They give you a whole bowl of mozzarella to dip everything in. The complimentary kimchi is super sour and refreshing—perfect palate cleanser. Only downside: spicy chicken feet have NO adjustable spice level and they are SPICY. My lips were flaming red after 🥵💋 📍Ya Sik Na Ra 🌶️ Spicy chicken feet with adjustable spice levels (0-10). I'm a spice wimp so I got 0.5... still kinda spicy LOL. The kimchi pancake was TREE TREE (crispy) and delicious 😋 📍 (Find Lao Wang) 🍢 Just go. Order the beef skewers and the "oil edge" cut. EAT THEM HOT. Cold ones don't hit the same. Spicy stir-fried chicken frame is sweet and sour, and the onions in it are surprisingly amazing. Small spot, we got lucky with no wait—weekends are apparently packed so go on a weekday! 📍Hanbat Sul Lung Tang 🍲 ADD THE FREE SPICY PASTE. Mild spice level but SO FRAGRANT. Also add as much green onion as you want. They only serve one thing here (ox bone soup) and it comes out FAST. The pickled radish is crunchy with zero bitter aftertaste. Perfect. 📍(3 Cats Tea) 🧋 Order on Panda. Prices are way more reasonable than UK bubble tea and portions are huge. I get no sugar or minimal sugar and everything slaps. It's near Hanbat so grab some after your soup. 📍Kith 🍦 They mix the toppings INTO the ice cream. Cornflake topping is a MUST—crunchy, not too sweet, I'm now a cornflake convert thank u. 📍Great White 🍕 Salmon pizza crust is INSANE. Thin, crispy, slightly charred in spots. Chicken wings are also great—sweet, boneless, stuffed with something (ginger inside which I normally hate but somehow survived). Solid spot. 📍Nong Lá Vietnamese Cafe ☕ The Banh mi is PERFECT. Bread is soft and crispy without tearing up the roof of your mouth. Pho comes in a special tomato broth option but I'm a purist—original all the way. LA really said "let me feed this child" and I said thank you ma'am can I have some more 😭🙏 #EatWell #LAFoodie #LATravel #FoodGuide #TooFullToSpeak #USATravel #RedDeliciousFoodie
