LA Romantic Vibe French Restaurant for Date Night ✨ The Little Door
This place is super popular online — I’ve been wanting to try it for a while! Friday night reservations are always hard to get, so we ended up booking the last slot at 10 PM. The atmosphere is a bit like il cielo, which I shared before — semi-outdoor seating, though it can get a bit chilly at night. Twinkling lights are everywhere, and the table lighting is soft and flattering, so every photo turns out great 📸✨ One thing worth noting: almost everyone here dresses really nicely, leaning toward smart-casual or formal. I felt like I was the most casually dressed that night… 😅 If you need a customized menu, be sure to mention it when making a reservation — they can’t arrange it on the spot! What We Ordered: 【Grilled Portuguese Octopus】⭐⭐⭐ The octopus wasn’t very large, and the texture was quite tender — not crispy or charred. Personally, it wasn’t really my thing. 【Seared Seabass】⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The skin was crispy, the fish was tender, and both sauces underneath were flavorful. The portion was a bit small though — recommended for those with lighter appetites! 【Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb】⭐⭐⭐⭐ No gamey taste at all — which is great! The lamb was tender, well-portioned, and the roasted veggies underneath were delicious. But I’m just not a big lamb person… 【Chocolate Lava Cake】⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Desserts are listed on a small blackboard that the server brings to your table… This dessert was absolutely amazing — especially pairing the ice cream with the warm chocolate lava cake. The mix of hot and cold was incredible! I’d come back just for this dessert!!! 🍫🔥 📍 The Little Door 8164 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90048 #LALife #LARestaurants #LAFoodReview #LAEats #LADateNight #LADateSpot #LAWesternFood #LADateIdeas #LARomanticVibe #LAFrenchCuisine
