LA Soul Food Spot đ Tevâs Kitchen near USC
Saw this place online and had to check it out! đ« Closed Mondaysâdonât go then! Other days open from 1:30 PM â 6:45 PM (or until sold out). I originally went for the oxtail (looked so good!), but the menu changes daily. On Tuesday, they had wings, tenders, ribs, salmon, etc.âall as combo meals for 25â34. Waited about 50 minutes in line + for food⊠highly recommend ordering online in advance! đ The staff were super friendly, and the place was full of locals đ€đ€âfelt authentic! â€ïž Chicken Wing Combo ($25) â Solid choice! (I went for classic sweet & spicy.) Comes with roasted broccoli đ„Š (so good!), mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, and sauce. The mac n cheese was probably the best Iâve had in years! The mashed potatoes were homemadeâwith real potato chunks sometimes. â€ïž Ribs Combo ($34) â The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender! A bit salty for my diet-conscious self, but totally acceptable!! The sauce was very Chinese-palate-friendly đ I finished the whole box with only minor damageâended up eating it again late at night lol! Iâd definitely try the oxtail if they have it next time! Well worth a try (though once was enough for a whileâprobably wonât go back for two months haha). Street parking is easy right outside~ If youâre curious, go check it out soon! The combo includes a mint-flavored drink (a bit sweetâprobably to cut the richness đ§). Good thing they have self-serve ice water at the entrance! đ Tevâs Kitchen 1905 W 48th St, Los Angeles, CA 90062 #LAEats #USCFood #LASoulFood #LAFoodRecommendation #LALife #LAFood #SoulFoodLove #LAFoodReview #LAFoodGuide #DTLAEats #ComfortFood #WorthTheWait
