LA Tempura Endo | Give Me 100 Uni Tempura! 🌸🍤

Ever since my cloud-like dining experience back then, I’ve been dreaming of it—finally tried an tempura omakase in LA and it did not disappoint! 🥒 Pickled Cucumber with tiny silverfish—umami boost! 🌿 Seaweed Jelly with chrysanthemum petals—floral aroma instantly brought back childhood memories of hometown dishes 🌼 🐟 Rich Salmon with spinach stems for texture 🌽 Corn perfectly locked in moisture—dipped in white salt, so flavorful! 🦐 Shrimp Toast was fresh, though the bread did soak up oil (unavoidable 😅) 🍆 Eggplant was amazing—light broth perfectly seasoned, drank it all! 🍵 Chawanmushi was silky smooth, made with matsutake mushrooms—bold and aromatic 🦐 Tempura Shrimp didn’t stand up (small letdown) but was sweet and fresh—cooked just right, even slightly rare near the head. Noticed Endo’s shrimp shape is super consistent (like a legacy 😄) 🌟 Uni Tempura—SO GOOD! Hokkaido uni was tender, sweet, and unforgettable.
