We booked a reservation for Valentine's Day and were seated promptly only to be informed that the only pre-fixed menu option for the evening was a $250pp Valentine's Day menu. Nothing else was available, not even the a la carte menu. It would have been nice to have been notified of this change in the menu prior to confirming the booking. I asked what was included as part of the pre-fix and the server had difficulty explaining what was included.  While her handwritten note was written completely in Japanese, she had difficulty translating to English and no printed menu was made available.

All in all, the meal plus two bottles of $50 sake came to a whopping $780 including tax and tip for two people. While the food was delicious and quality of ingredients was high, the chocolate berry tart dessert that concluded the meal was worse than store bought and definitely an afterthought. The berries on top were still frozen and the crust was dry. The servers kept bumping into us when busing the tables and on more than one occasion had difficulty explaining what the dishes actually were. For the steep steep price, there are definitely better fine dining experiences out there. Would...

Purely for their reservation & clerk attitude - opentable & its website says customer can decide 24 hours before reservation time but the clerk called me and asked me to decide from my reservations a week ahead, otherwise they will cancel my reservations right away in the call. I argued hard for my right with them and eventually they compromised but still only gave me 48 hours to decide, which is still not as same as their public policy. I don't like restaurant makes their own secret rule just for their own convenience since I read policy carefully to make sure I don't disobey the rules to show my respect, but making their own secret rule and acting like they are the boss is like breaking contract and not respectful for customers, which I loathe a lot. After all, there are still tons of fine restaurants in the world. Maybe it is my personal thing but I probably wont visit this...

4,5 Googl Sterne gebe. Im Schnitt werden sie mit...
