LA Weekend|360-Degree Ocean View Hiking Trail 🌊
Ever get that feeling where you suddenly just need to see the ocean? 🌊 📍 Los Leones Canyon It's near the Malibu coast, and with no traffic, it's only about a 20-minute drive from the city. Parking is super convenient—even on weekends, there are plenty of spots. There are 2-3 free parking lots, plus street parking is available. The first part of the trail is shaded by trees, which feels really nice and comfortable. 🌳 Seeing so much lush greenery in LA just makes me so happy! After walking through this wooded area, you'll reach the stunning coastal path. Every turn brings a new, beautiful surprise! 😍 🥾 The entire trail is generally quite easy to walk. There's only a very short section with larger rocks. If you just want to see the ocean, you can hike to the midpoint where there's a bench facing the sea. Watch the waves and enjoy the sunset, then head back. 🌅 PS: It can be very sunny, so remember sun protection, or come around 4-5 PM! ☀️ I completed the full trail—the total time and distance are in P2, though I'm not sure why it didn't match my AllTrails live recording exactly. 📱 🏝️ After descending, it's just a 5-minute drive to the beach. Perfect for lounging, relaxing, and watching the sunset. Every sunset in Los Angeles is worth remembering! ✨ What's your favorite coastal hike in the LA area? Have you tried Los Leones Canyon?
