LA YUMIYAKI Sukiyaki House

Melt-in-Your-Mouth Wagyu Feast 🍲✨ After a pretty average experience at Mikiya, I didn’t have high hopes for this newly opened sukiyaki spot… But wow—I was totally wrong! The quality here is way more consistent!! You can literally see the difference—the ingredients are top-notch, and the photos speak for themselves (no filter needed!). 📸🔥 I enjoyed it so much, I wanted to share this right after my meal—super satisfying! My friend agreed it’s a big step up, too. The sukiyaki broth has just the right level of sweetness, the ingredients are fresh—no icy bits— and the meat is seriously delicious. 🥩💖 We went for the $88/person set menu. Besides the limited-edition wagyu, I really loved the cut rolls, and the sashimi was great too! They also have a self-service area, so you can control how much you take— way better than ordering plate after plate and ending up with too much. The restaurant’s vibe is thoughtfully designed—spacious seating, not cramped at all. I can definitely see myself coming back often! That said—it’s not worth waiting in line for hours. I went in the afternoon when it wasn’t crowded, and honestly, compared to Mikiya, this place is a clear winner (you know what I mean 😉). Have you tried YUMIYAKI yet?
