On weekends, we grab our two camping chairs and drive just 8 minutes to Lacy Park in San Marino. Parking is easy—spaces near the entrance and street parking available. The best part? It’s completely free! Walking through the park on a sunny day fills you with so much positive energy. ☀️🌳 You can spread out a picnic blanket and lie on the grass, bring your own chairs to relax in the shade, or use the many tables and benches scattered throughout the park. We’ve been twice now, and it never feels crowded—maybe because it’s so spacious and well laid out. Whether you’re walking the dog, playing with kids, reading a book, or just daydreaming under a tree, Lacy Park offers that perfect blend of tranquility and open space. It’s clean, green, and wonderfully peaceful—a true escape without leaving the city.
