Lake Tahoe Food Diary 🍽️ | Tahoe Eats

Since we stayed on the north shore this time, all these spots are nearby – perfect for future north-shore travelers! β™ͺ(´Ρ` ) 1. FUMO Lake Tahoe We sat outdoors (late August weather was perfect! 😌). Wild Cut Salmon ($46 – memorable price 🀣) Clam Chowder (group favorite!) Black Garlic Truffle Pasta (no truffle flavor, tasted Taiwanese-style?) Ultimate Tahoe Burger (friend said: "Avoid this!" πŸ˜†) Verdict: Okay but overpriced ☺️ (friends didn’t recommend though!) 2. Tree Home Cafe 𖀐 Found randomly on Google Maps – unexpectedly great! β™‘ Coffee was decent, but must-try the burritos 🌯: Tree House Burrito Smoked Meat Burrito (we chose brisket) Everyone here orders one – so delicious 🀀! Perfect for takeout to the lake. 3. Osteria Sierra (inside Hyatt Regency 1st floor) Food was okay 😌, but outdoor seating had stunning views! 🏞️ Tahoe Benedict (friend said "meh") Braised Pork Carnitas Tacos (friend loved it!) The Omelet (safe choice – no regrets!) 4. Korean Chicken We ordered wings (bone-in) – plain + soy garlic πŸ—. Tasty! πŸ˜‹ No veggies though, so we bought sides from a supermarket πŸ₯’. 5. My Thai (only south shore spot!) We spent half a day on the south shore, so we tried this Xiaohongshu-famous spot. Generally okay 😌 (seating was cramped!). Pad Thai was the standout – wok hei + egg fragrance 😍! Top 3 I’ve ever had πŸ˜€. #LakeTahoe #TahoeFood #FoodDiary #NorthTahoeEats #TravelEats 🍜
