Back at Lao Szechuan — and it’s still as incredible as ever! We stopped by for a quick bite before heading to the Great Smoky Mountains 🏔️, and ended up with a feast so good, we took leftovers to enjoy later in our cozy cabin. Here’s what we ordered: 🦆 Dry-Fried Shredded Duck An absolute standout! Crispy, fragrant, and packed with flavor — highly, highly recommend! 🐖 Dry-Fried Pork Intestine & Maoxuewang The intestines were cooked to perfection — chewy, rich, and soaked in bold spices. The Maoxuewang came loaded with ingredients (including more intestine!), and underneath it all — savory bean threads that soaked up all the delicious broth! 🦑 New! Sizzling Iron Plate Squid A tasty new addition — tender squid served on a hot plate, full of wok hei and aroma. We packed the leftovers and enjoyed them later in our Smoky Mountains cabin — pure comfort after a long day 🏡❤️.
