LAX 22-Hour Layover: An Epic Sprint 🏃‍♂️✈️

Kicked off my long journey with a 22-hour layover in LA—landed at 8 AM, next flight at 6 AM. Thought I had plenty of time, but reality had other plans! Here’s the raw recap: 🛃 Customs Chaos The immigration line felt endless. Almost 2 hours just to get through! Delay #1. 🚗 Transport Troubles LA’s attractions are far apart. Public transit? Slow with multiple transfers. Rideshares? Fast but costly (est. $200+). 😫 🗺️ Itinerary Issues Tried squeezing in Santa Monica Beach for sunset 🌅 and Griffith Observatory for 🌌, but the route was awkward with backtracking. 🎒 Luggage Lockers Used LAX 24/7 Locker Rentals. Pro tip: Walk from Terminal 7 (see map)! Closer than waiting for shuttles. Also near the plane-spotting In-N-Out Burger 🍔! 🏙️ Sights Review Beverly Hills & shopping districts: Not as glam as expected. Sunset Blvd & Palm-lined streets: Only a few photo spots stood out. Beach & Observatory: Weather-dependent. DTLA: Too far for a layover; pick one—Observatory or downtown. 💭 Final Thoughts LA feels more like a lifestyle city than a tourist magnet. Perfect weather, laid-back vibes, great for living—but as a dedicated travel destination? Mixed feelings. As a layover visit? It works! #LayoverChallenge #LAXStopover #TravelHacks #LosAngeles #InNOut #GriffithObservatory #SantaMonica #OneDayInLA #TravelTips ✈️🌴📸
