Learn All About Seattle – From Below the Ground! 🚶‍♂️

We pre-booked the CityPASS Seattle Underground Tour for 11:00 AM on a Monday — and it turned out to be one of the most fascinating and fun experiences of our trip! The tour lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and takes you on a unique journey beneath the streets of Pioneer Square, where Seattle’s hidden history comes to life. 🕰️ Step Back in Time – Literally! You’ll move between underground passages and street level, learning how Seattle was rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1889 🧱🔥 Hear stories of the city’s early days — from scandal and survival to innovation and identity Our guide was engaging, humorous, and full of energy — a true storyteller! 🎭 ⚠️ Good to Know Before You Go: There’s some stair climbing and uneven ground — comfortable shoes are a must! 👟 Spaces can be a bit narrow or dimly lit — not ideal for those with mobility issues or claustrophobia A small gift area is available at the end — perfect for a historic souvenir 🛍️ Restrooms are accessible before and after the tour 🚻 🗺️ Located in Historic Pioneer Square After the tour, you’re in the heart of one of Seattle’s oldest neighborhoods: Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and historic bars nearby 🍻☕ Art galleries, bookshops, and beautiful Romanesque architecture 🏛️📚 Close to Waterfall Garden Park, King Street Station, and the stadiums 🏟️ 💡 Why It’s a Must-Do: Whether you're a history lover, a curious traveler, or just looking for something beyond the typical tourist path — the Seattle Underground Tour offers a one-of-a-kind perspective on the city’s gritty, glorious past. #SeattleUndergroundTour #CityPASS #PioneerSquare #HiddenHistory #SeattleHistory
