Legit Korean Food in the LA East Side

Turns out the east side has been eating good—this hidden spot in an Ontario plaza, Tofu Chon, delivers seriously authentic Korean flavors. I was picking someone up from Ontario Airport and craving Asian food, so we randomly stopped here with low expectations… and left totally impressed! We ordered: 🥘 Soon Tofu (Soft Tofu Stew) — silky tofu in a rich, comforting broth, perfect for winter. 🧀 Cheese Galbi (Cheese-Covered Ribs) — generous portion, sweet-savory glaze, and melty cheese. 🔥 Sizzling Galbi (Beef Short Ribs) — packed with flavor, tender and juicy. Every dish reminded me of Ktown favorites like Sun Nong Dan and BCD Tofu House—but way closer to home for east siders!
