I discovered Tofu Chon while browsing on Yelp last year and bookmarked it. I called ahead yesterday to make sure they were open today (since it's Memorial Day) and they were.

My husband mentioned he missed good Korean food so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to finally try it.

A server doesn't come to your table to take your order. You order from the touchscreen at your table. There's also a "call server" button if you need someone to come to your table or when you're ready to pay the bill which was really cool.

I got the Galbi + Soon Tofu Combo ($31.99) and my husband got the Bibimbap + Soon Tofu Combo ($27.99). Our total came out to $59.98.

I have to say, the Soon Tofu soup was really flavorful! We both got it with beef but you can pick your protein. I knew I loved it at my first taste. I finished the whole bowl which is rare. The one negative I can point out is my galbi took the longest to arrive and because my husband eats so fast he was done with his bibimbap by the time it came out! Newly opened, I would have easily driven by this place since I rarely see Korean restaurants in Ontario, but I saw it online on yelp. Located next to Dollar Tree. Modern and bright decor with kpop playing. The tables were fitted with a tablet to order from. I chose their spicy pork with beef intestine soondubu combo ($27.99). The lady came with a bottle of water with several banchan of eomuk bokkeum (stir-fried fishcakes), cucumber kimchi, kongnamul muchim (bean sprouts), kimchi, and sigeumchi-namul (blanched spinach).

The soondubu came bubbling hot with an egg. It was thick with bits of tofu, beef, and chopped intestines. I ordered it with a spicy level, and it had a good heat to it. The spicy pork was seasoned well with slices of onions on a hot plate.

The restroom is clean. The staff was nice and attentive. The lady asked multiple times if I wanted refills of the banchan. The parking lot is...
