🦋 The annual Orchid Festival is here! This year’s setup is inspired by Peru, featuring decorations with llamas, flamingos, spectacled bears, and butterflies. Festival: Orchids Festival Date: 1 February to 2 March 2025 Location: Princess of Wales Conservatory, Kew Gardens 🌟The orchid festival admission is included in the Kew Gardens entry, but you need to book a time slot separately. There will be ticket checks outside the greenhouse according to the time slots, so don’t arrive too late. From 10-11 AM daily is the Member Slot, which is less crowded. (Bring your membership card and ID) 🌏 Recently, Kew Gardens also has a Blue and White Porcelain exhibition that you can visit together. Exhibition: Expressions in Blue Date: 26 October 2024 to 23 March 2025 Location: Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art Ceramic artist Felicity Aylieff has been collaborating with the porcelain workshops and artisans of Jingdezhen, China, for a long time. 💖“Expressions in Blue” will feature a range of pottery works, including vases that are all handcrafted and hand-painted with cobalt oxide, interpreting the blue and white style in a modern way.
