Los Angeles’ New Coffee Shop Worth Visiting! ☕✨
Lately, Archives of Us has been getting a lot of buzz— I’ll be honest, I’ve reached a point where coffee shops all start to look the same, and I’m always wary of disappointment… But you’ve gotta try it yourself to know, right? 🖤 AOU just had its soft opening on the second floor of an apartment building in Chinatown. The parking lot has clear signs guiding you to take the elevator up to the shop. Stepping out of the elevator, you enter an open yet minimalist-industrial space—think metal finishes, black accents, and a scatter of customers working or studying. The back wall behind the counter is a glowing blue digital screen that reminded me of Gwedho (궤도) in Seoul! 🖥️🇰🇷 🍌☕️ I ordered the Banana Tiramisu Creamtop— I asked for no milk, so it was essentially black coffee with cream topping. The cream was on the thinner side and quite fluid, so it still looked like a latte. Not too sweet overall, and pretty enjoyable! And now… let me strongly recommend: 🍔 Wagyu Slider Hawaiian sweet buns filled with egg salad, a perfectly seared wagyu patty (crispy outside, tender inside!), and melted cheese. Sweet, savory, utterly addictive—a true flavor cycle! One box comes with four sliders. One is satisfying, two might be a bit rich—best to share with friends! 👯♀️ 💁 The staff brings your coffee and food to your table. 🪑 There’s plenty of seating outside, so no need to worry about finding a spot. 📖 Indoors, there’s a row of window seats perfect for solo relaxing or reading. 🅿️ Parking validation is offered (though I’m not sure for how many hours—I still had to pay when I left). Better to ask when you order! Parking rates: 3 for the first hour, then 3 per additional 15 minutes. #RosemarysCoffeeDiary #LACafeReview #100CafesChallenge #DesignForwardCafe #LACoffeeScene #ChinatownLA #NewInTown #CoffeeLovers #CafeHopping #WorkFriendly #MinimalistVibes #FoodAndCoffee #WagyuSlider #SweetAndSavory
