JunTong SulLungTang 🍲 A small, unassuming spot that looks a bit old but keeps clean. The sign says “since 1985” — they only serve soup, and it tastes authentic and seriously good. 6️⃣ Sam Gye Tang (Ginseng Chicken Soup) The broth is flavorful and perfectly seasoned, with tender chicken and a filling of sticky rice and red dates. Served with purple rice, kimchi, and spicy radish — an absolute must-try! 🌟 4️⃣ Galbi Tang (Beef Short Rib Soup) You can tell the broth is slow-simmered — rich and savory without being oily. The seasoning is just right, with huge pieces of short rib and glass noodles inside. So delicious! 🌟 The kimchi and spicy radish here may not be the best I’ve had, but they’re still solid. And best part — I didn’t feel thirsty afterward (probably not loaded with MSG). Love that 👍 Overall, the value is unbeatable — generous portions that leave you full. We didn’t even get to try their meat dishes this time, but next visit for sure. Perfect for a cold or rainy day — this is a spot I’ll keep coming back to! 😋 🅿️ Parking: Free in the Western Plaza lot — plenty of spaces. 📍 Address: 869 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005 #LosAngeles #CaliforniaEats #LAFood #LAKoreanFood #KtownLA #HiddenGem #WeekendEats
