Los Angeles' New Hidden Gem for Date Nights and Sushi Lovers
I’ve finally found a Japanese restaurant where both looks and taste are on point! Kopan’s new branch in West Covina is one of the most beautiful Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to! The ambiance inside is pure Japanese style, with soft lighting and elegant private booths that make you feel like you’ve instantly stepped onto a Japanese street. Perfect for dates, family dinners, and casual get-togethers. 🌟 Must-try dishes: 🍣 Sushi Platter (Ginza Sushi): The presentation was stunning when it arrived at the table! It looked like high-end Omakase, with beautiful and delicate plating. The sushi rice was soft and sticky, and the fish was incredibly fresh! For such a large portion, it’s only about $37, which is a great value! Definitely order this for a date—it won’t disappoint! 🍣 Sashimi Platter : The fish is super fresh, melting in your mouth with every bite. Especially the Salmon belly and Yellowtail belly, which are rich in fat. Each bite is pure bliss! Kushner Tuna Rice Krispies: The crispy rice is made from sticky rice cakes, which are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Combined with spicy tuna paste, the texture is incredibly rich. Every bite is super satisfying! I personally loved it. ✨ The service is super attentive. The dishes recommended by the waitstaff were spot-on and really hit the spot for foodies! 💖 The restaurant is conveniently located near a large shopping mall and cinema. You can grab dinner here right after watching a movie, and parking is super easy! 🤑 Psst, here’s a secret: From 11:30 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays, they offer an amazing lunch set with two bowls of ramen and two appetizers for just over $40. It’s a steal! They also have a Happy Hour menu in the evening! #LosAngelesFood #LosAngelesEats #100RestaurantsChallenge #JapaneseFoodRecommendation #DateNightRestaurant #GreatValueFood #LosAngelesFun
