Los Angeles | North Lake, South Lake, Lake Sabrina
As someone who absolutely adores autumn, my most anticipated moment every year is seeing the golden fall foliage! 🍂✨ This time, I took a super classic route: Los Angeles → Highway 395 → Bishop, and experienced two seasons in a single day! 🚗💨 Sharing my amazing itinerary with you all: 📍 North Lake: In the early morning, the lake is as calm as a mirror, with golden aspen forests reflecting perfectly on the surface—it’s literally a real-life desktop wallpaper! 🖼️🌅 📍 South Lake: A wide, expansive lake where the blue sky, snow-capped mountains, and autumn leaves all come together in one frame—every shot looks like a postcard! 🏞️📸 📍 Lake Sabrina: The water shines in brilliant blue, set against distant snowy peaks and hills covered in gold—it feels like stepping into a fairy tale! 🧚💙 🚗 Along the way, we passed by the Manzanar National Historic Site—a place that invites quiet reflection on an important chapter of history. 🕊️ 🥖 Back in the town of Bishop, don’t miss Erick Schat’s Bakery! Grab their famous bread or a sandwich for the road—perfect as dinner on the way home! 🥪🍞 🕒 Quick Tips: • From LA, it’s about a 4.5-hour drive. I recommend starting around 6 AM and returning to LA by 9 PM—perfect for experiencing two seasons in one day! ⏳ • Best time to see the colors: late September to mid-October. 🗓️ • Bring snacks and water—you’ll need them while hiking up near the lakes! 🎒💧 🍂 Final thoughts: If you want to experience the autumn that LA just doesn’t have, take a trip along Highway 395! The views are straight out of a MacOS wallpaper—but even more stunning in person! Let’s gooo! 🍁🔥 What’s your favorite fall destination or road trip route?
