Los Angeles French Restaurant Review: A Food Affair 🍽️
Though it’s labeled as French cuisine, I’d say it leans more American in style. The vibe is a bit punk, with a small but cozy space. 1. Bread with Duck Liver Pâté The bread was too thick and hard—it made up about 70% of the bite, totally overshadowing the duck liver. I think a thinner, softer bread would’ve worked better. The pâté itself was tasty though! 🦆🍞 2. Bread with Bone Marrow Same bread, same issue—but the bone marrow was rich and delicious! 🥩✨ 3. Duck Confit Prepared in an American style—the sauce was bold and a bit sweet. Not bad, but not memorable either. 4. Lemon Tart It was good, but definitely had that classic American dessert feel—a bit rustic and not very refined. 🍋🥧 Overall, the flavors were just okay—I’d give it a 7/10.
