Just discovered another standout omakase spot in LA! Udatsu Sushi, which opened here from Tokyo at the end of last year 🍣, also earned a Michelin star two years ago ⭐. The chef is incredibly creative, and the menu progression is perfectly layered—every course felt like a delightful surprise 🎉. The sushi rice is firm on the outside yet soft inside 🍚. From lean to fatty tuna, the bluefin trio was a flawless performance 🐟. The Seasonal Vegetable Roll might sound simple, but it’s a wonderful trio of natto, mountain yam, and pickles—refreshing yet rich in texture. We even ordered an extra round! 🤤 Service was also excellent 🥰. When they found out we were celebrating an anniversary, they treated us to two glasses of champagne 🥂.
