Mom, Please Ukrainian Food, Playa Vista A Ukrainian restaurant tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood in LA. Perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch with friends—soak up the sun and catch up on gossip in this cozy, charming spot! ☀️💬 Recently, they’ve decorated for Christmas 🎄— Even their outdoor seating is super photogenic and full of atmosphere! 📸 The restaurant has two menus: One with typical breakfast options, And a special menu dedicated to Ukrainian dishes. We only saw the Ukrainian menu when ordering, So this time we tried the cheese pancake and potato pancake. The kitchen was having some issues that day though— We waited about an hour for our food 🌚… 🧀 Cheese Pancake: Tasted a bit like cheesecake, served with a yogurt sauce— Slightly sweet with a gentle milky flavor. 🥔 Potato Pancake: Potato patty with smoked salmon—a combo that can’t go wrong! The yogurt sauce had a strong parsley flavor and a hint of black olive. Their bakery desserts are all passable—way too sweet for my taste. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟 (One star for the lovely ambiance!)
