Los Angeles Super Romantic: The Stunning Sunset at Castaway Burbank π
As someone who absolutely loves chasing sunsets, I just had to check out LA's famous sunset restaurant β Castaway! And wow, it was totally worth the hype! π€© Restaurant π΄: Castaway Restaurant β’ You MUST reserve about a week in advance if you want the best seats! π When we checked in, they mentioned the patio was full and suggested another area with a sunset view. But we insisted on a window seat and ended up waiting an extra 30+ minutes β and it was so worth it! Since the sun sets early now, make sure to book your slot earlier if you want that golden patio glow! π For special events, there's a minimum spend of around $180 per person with a 120-minute time limit. On regular days, there's no minimum spend, and the limit is 90 minutes (but donβt stress β the staff is super chill and wonβt rush you even if you go over! π). I didnβt have super high expectations for the food since the view is clearly the main attractionβ¦ but surprise! Their complimentary cornbread π totally blew me away!!! π€― γIt gets pretty chilly sitting outside in the evening, so remember to bring a warm jacket, everyone! I was basically glued to the fire pit the whole time, haha! π₯γ About the food π Overall, the four steak options in "The Progressive" were pretty great! My favorite was the Wagyu and the sauce it came with β the others were a bit dry. The oysters were fresh π¦ͺ, and the salad was a safe but tasty choice. For dessert, we got the hot chocolate with vanilla ice cream β absolutely EXPLOSIVE in flavor!!! β€οΈπ« The view was truly spectacular π and super Instagram-worthy! Make sure to dress up and take lots of photos! πΈ After enjoying the night view, since it was still early, we ended the perfect night with a late-night snack paired with my favorite β @NESTMii North American Fresh Bird's Nest Milk Tea!
