✨ Lucky Trip to Limoges ✨

The forecast said 9-14°C, but surprise—it was 20°C and sunny! ☀️ After so many years, I finally saw Limoges’ breathtaking clouds again. At Orly Airport, I didn’t have enough change, but the kind bus driver let me ride for free 🚌. Later, my transit app glitched, yet another driver waved me on with a smile. Went to Monoprix for pretty plates—no luck, but scored Tintin’s "The Blue Lotus" instead! 📘 Stopped by my old school (closed on weekends), but I saw everything I wanted. The giant rock behind the dorm was still there—my old spot for sky-gazing and deep thoughts. Whispered "Goodbye, goodbye" as I left. 👋 Craved a crêpe, but my banana split order turned out to be ice cream and cupcakes 🍦… yet next door, I stumbled upon a secondhand bookstore and bought another cheap Tintin book! Wandered toward the cathedral and—memory unlocked!—discovered the hidden botanical garden behind it 🌿. I’d forgotten Limoges had a river, but the universe guided me there anyway—it was right behind the garden! 🌊 Passed City Hall and accidentally crashed a wedding 💒 (saw the bride—so pretty!). Dinner was Rossini-style Limousin steak 🥩 (with foie gras—fancy but too rich for one person). Last time I was here, I was too scared, too rushed. This time, I slowed down and saw how beautiful Limoges is—how kind its people are (strangers say "Bonjour!" 👋). I even dared to travel alone and embrace uncertainty. Sunday: Woke up to rain 🌧️—perfect! Now I’ve seen Limoges in sun and showers. In my last hour, I explored the garden opposite the station and found the Ibis I stayed at in 2017. Best surprise? At Relay, the cashier told me about a promo—my salad dropped to €5.11… today’s date AND my birthday! 🎂 Thank you, angel cashier!
