Lynnwood Korean Food|Hosoonyi X Our Place

Continuing my Lynnwood food adventures! This Korean restaurant and café share the same plaza, so I'll cover both in one go. Hosoonyi First heard about this place from my Korean-American friend—it's been around for over 30 years! We've dined here multiple times over the years, and the food has always been solid. Recently, there were rumors about declining quality after an ownership change, but we didn’t notice—our usual favorites were still just as delicious!🐟 The 12 (!) banchan (side dishes) that arrive in one big spread are seriously impressive—and so good we always finish them and ask for refills. Our go-to order is the soup + fish/meat combo. My $26 soft tofu soup with fried yellow croaker was hearty and satisfying—the tofu soup at medium spice was perfect, and the fish was crispy, flavorful, and addictive. Highly recommend! 🍲 Our Place A trendy Instagram-worthy café with fancy decor. Their black sesame bingsu (shaved ice) with mochi is a must-try! The mango and strawberry mille crepe cakes were light and not overly sweet—great for someone like me who usually skips desserts. However, the Earl Grey grapefruit cake was disappointingly dry and coarse—wouldn’t recommend. 🍰🙅‍♀️ Final Thoughts: Hosoonyi = Reliable, hearty Korean comfort food (still going strong after decades!). Our Place = Great for aesthetic desserts & drinks (stick to the bingsu and mille crepes!). #LynnwoodEats #KoreanFood #SeattleCafes #SeattleDesserts #ComfortFood #NoRegrets #FoodieFinds #SeattleFoodScene #MustTry #HiddenGems
