The English menu described it as "lean fish." When I asked the waiter what type of fish it was, he seemed quite flustered—like I was an IELTS speaking examiner. He wanted to speak French but also tried to hold back. Eventually, he gave me two English words: 🌊 "Ocean Fish." Poor guy, he was navigating the gray area between answering off-topic and the unexpected. ☔ Next time I visit France, I really need to learn some French. It's on me. 🫠 🥘 I added an extra main course: 🐮 veal thymus. The texture and flavor were acceptable, and I could tell the quality of the ingredients was good, but I wouldn't say I loved the dish. 🧁 For dessert, I had pistachio nougat with coconut mousse + grapefruit sauce & grapefruit sorbet.
