Lyon Sunday Art Market, I Love It! 🎨❤️
Today, I went downstairs to explore the market, and suddenly the winds picked up, and it started to rain. The artists began to pack up their stalls, but after walking a few steps, the sky cleared up again! ☀️ Is there anything more joyful than the sun coming out? I truly love this Sunday morning art market, which stretches along the Saône River. On one side, there are exquisite and unique jewelry pieces, and on the other, various styles of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and other handcrafted items. 🌊💍🎨 I bought a pair of earrings that caught my eye immediately. Each pair is so interesting, crafted by artists using different materials: stone, metal, or ceramic. When I saw a birdcage, I suddenly remembered something written by Tsai Kang-yung that I read in high school—it left a lasting impression. The essence was that when the bird in the cage flies away, congratulations, you are now free, cage. Ah, it turns out that those who bind and deprive others of freedom are the ones who are least free themselves. Such a powerful thought! 🕊️🔒 Across from the market was a silver little book box. I originally came looking for Rimbaud's poems, but the owner said he didn’t have any. Then I was delighted to see a book by Paul Valéry and told the owner that his poetry is quite wonderful! 📚✨ #WhereToGoOnTheWeekend #VintageMarket #ArtMarket #Artists #Lyon #France
