๐Ÿ“ Navigate to: Holy Hill โ€“ 1525 Carmel Rd, Hubertus, WI ๐Ÿฅพ Trail Access Point: Ice Age National Scenic Trail, Hartford, WI Located near the stunning Holy Hill Basilica, this area offers some of the most beautiful fall hiking in the Midwest ๐Ÿ‚โœจ. Although itโ€™s closer to Milwaukee, itโ€™s well worth the ~1 hour drive from Madison! I visited once in summer, but autumn is when Holy Hill truly shines โ€” especially when the leaves turn gold. The entire forest looks like itโ€™s straight out of Rivendell from The Lord of the Rings! ๐Ÿงโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ At the top, donโ€™t miss the basilicaโ€™s observation tower โ€” but be ready for a workout! Youโ€™ll need to climb 178 narrow and steep steps ๐Ÿ˜…. The view from above? Absolutely breathtaking โ€” you can see rolling hills painted in red, orange, and yellow ๐Ÿž๏ธ๐Ÿ“ธ.
