🦌 Madison’s Mini Nara!

I declare outdoor activities the best way to gain inspiration and reset your mindset! 🌿 Despite Madison’s unpredictable weather lately, I seized a sunny day to visit Deer Park and feed the deer. 🚗 Getting There From campus: ~1 hour drive. Admission: $18 per adult (cash only). Deer crackers: $8 per bag (cash only). 💡 Tips: Bring cash – both tickets and deer crackers require cash. Buy 1-2 bags of deer crackers – deer near the entrance are picky (they prefer corn!), but hungry deer in the middle section will devour them! Corn costs $1 per cone (sold only at the entrance). Pro: Deer will lick your hands! 🦌👐 Con: No containers provided for corn from automated machines (25¢ per handful). Pack wet wipes – only one restroom at the entrance. Watch your step – animal droppings everywhere! Avoid eating inside due to the smell. Plan for 1-1.5 hours – nearby haunted houses and wildlife zoos are worth exploring too!
