Madison｜A Random Super Smelly Street

Yesterday I rushed to try West African food at Les délices de Awa, but it was just okay—not amazing, and the portions were pretty small. I thought African cuisine would be bold and generous with servings… but nope 😅. Still, I ran into this cow covered with cows (see cover photo), so I guess it wasn’t a total loss (well, kinda was lol). Everything was mediocre except for the cassava fries—they were delicious 😋. We also boldly tried this muddy-looking drink and recklessly ordered two full pitchers (thought they were sold by the cup… big mistake 🙃). After eating, we took a walk around the nearby street and found this beautiful green-domed building. No idea why the whole street smelled so weird though… left confused and took a cab home. But on the way back, we caught this gorgeous sunset 🌆—guess luck was on this fool’s side today. Too bad I took the photo crooked… classic me 😜. #Madison #SunsetLover
