Tried Nitty Gritty for takeout before—huge portions and amazing flavor! Last week, my roommate and I finally dined in (when we couldn’t decide what to eat 😂). Their burgers beat The Library, MOOYAH, McDonald’s, and Sett (imo! 🏆). All burgers come with fries! 🍟 Here’s what we ordered: 🍔 Gritty Burger ($13.25) – 6 oz patty with customizable toppings. I added lettuce, tomato, and fried onion! 🥩 The Big Gritt ($16.99) – Massive 12 oz patty (compare to hand size in pic!). Packed with flavor! 🥯 Pretzel Bender Burger ($14.99) – Pretzel bun with melted cheese—roommate’s pick! 🧀 🐓 Chicken Strips ($12.49) – Standard but crispy! Fun fact: Nitty Gritty opened in Madison in 1968, and the building dates back to 1898 (was a pub before!).
