I officially declare outdoor activities the best way to gain inspiration and reset your mind! 🌿📝 With Madison’s unpredictable weather lately, we seized a sunny day to visit Deer Park and feed the deer! 📍 About *1-hour drive* from campus. 🎟️ $18/adult, 🦌 Deer crackers: $8/bag 📌 Tips: 💵 Bring cash (only accepted for entry & snacks!). 🦌 Buy *1-2 bags of deer crackers*. Deer near the entrance are picky (they prefer corn!), but the ones deeper in are hungry! We ran out and had to buy corn kernels. 🌽 Corn kernels: $1/cob (sold only at the entrance). Machines inside offer $0.25 handfuls—but no container! 👐 Corn lets deer lick your hand (!), and you can feed other animals too. 🧻 Bring wet wipes! Only one restroom at the entrance. 🚫 Watch your step—poop everywhere! It’s smelly, so avoid eating inside. ⏰ Spend *1-1.5 hours* here. Nearby: a haunted house and wildlife zoo (worth visiting!). 😅 The deer are friendly but… not as pretty as Nara’s (just saying!).
