Lombardino's 🇮🇹 A decent Italian spot. The scallops and octopus were okay, but the side dishes were actually better—more flavorful! Especially the scallop side: corn mixed with something mysterious… so good I kept eating it, and I usually avoid corn 😆. Calamari was just average. The pasta was delicious though—fried eggplant inside, and the sauce was well-balanced. The tiramisu wasn’t very traditional (lots of cream), but I love cream, so I enjoyed it 🍰. Easy to please, I guess! L’Allande 🇫🇷 First two dishes were 🔥: escargots with baguette, foie gras pâté, and something sweet and tangy. Sea bass wrapped in crispy pastry—tender like cod but very mild in flavor. The carrots were boring 🥕. Dessert was too sweet—I still prefer dark chocolate. Overall: come for the baguette, leave gloriously after that 🥖💫. Sourdough 🥯 Ordered the “Eggs Diablo” because the name sounded cool… but it’s basically eggs with pasta sauce 🍳😅. Felt like I could make it myself. The bread was good though, and the iced latte was nice too! Bloom 🧁 Tried their cake samples—absolutely delicious 😋. I secretly took two pieces… hope no one noticed 👀 Bartaco 🦆🍚 Duck rice bowl with tuna—incredible! Rich duck + onions & bell peppers mixed into the rice… no words needed. The tuna was fresh too! Had a dessert here before—way too sweet 🍮. Short Stack Eatery 🥞 Ordered the corned beef hash. It was tasty at first, but got really greasy—even the sauce and veggies couldn’t cut through it 😣. The worst part? I left smelling like I deep-fried myself… not just ate there 🍳👚. Coffee wasn’t good either. Gotham Bagels 🥯🥪 Best sandwich I’ve ever had. Mind-blowing! 🤯 The bacon, egg, and potato bagel—each bite was perfection. The potato patty was seasoned perfectly. Also tried the smoked salmon one—so so good. Only downside: the bagel was super chewy (might give you jaw gains 💪😬), but I guess that’s how bagels should be? Bradbury’s 🥞☕ Latte was aromatic and delicious. Loved the crepe too—dark chocolate + caramel inside 🍫🍯. Lots of chocolate! #Madison #RestaurantRecs
