Madison | Incredibly Delicious Turkish Food 🍖 — Zero Disappointments!

Dinner with friends tonight was a total success!!! We tried Turkish Kitchen on Monroe St — and every single dish was amazing! Not a single miss! ✨ The atmosphere was also fantastic—there was even a sweet old grandma playing the violin as live background music 🎻❤️ Three of us ordered three main dishes, and after tax, it was about $35 per person. 🍖 Pirzola - $29.95 Grilled lamb chops—tender and juicy! The menu said 3 pieces, but we got 4 lol… shared the extra one hehe 😊 🍗 Chicken Shish Kebab - $26.95 Skewered boneless chicken thigh—super moist and flavorful! My roommate said it tasted like KFC back in China 😂 🥘 Iskender Kebab - $26.95 Sliced grilled lamb served with yogurt, tomato sauce, and rice. This came first and was delicious, but honestly got overshadowed by the later dishes 😆 Ended up taking leftovers home! ☕ Turkish Tea - $1.95 Traditional Turkish tea—really nice and free refills! Heard they used to serve this for free as water, but now it’s a separate order. Still super affordable! 🥗 Every table gets complimentary salad and rice (we didn’t even touch the rice lol) 🍲 Everyone also gets a free bowl of lentil soup! 📸 Group photo of the mains + the violin-playing grandma + interior decor #UWMadison #MadisonFood #MadisonWI #UniversityOfWisconsin #Wisconsin #ExploreWisconsin #FoodExploration #TurkishFood #FoodieAdventure
