🎓 Updated Summer 2025 🧡 Fairchild One of the most delightful French restaurants I’ve tried in Madison! Their foie gras made it legendary right after opening — I’ve been raving about it to friends ever since 😍 The menu changes seasonally, and the quality is consistently high (though a few dishes can be just okay — maybe I ordered wrong? 😂). Perfect for dates or celebrations — highly recommend! 🧡 Porta Bella Italian Restaurant A uniquely atmospheric Italian spot — felt like stepping into a secret chamber with its moody lighting 🕯️! Must-try: BBQ Chicken Pizza — slightly spicy and incredibly fragrant. Great for casual hangouts or small gatherings. 🧡 La Hacienda My go-to Mexican restaurant! Their massive Mixed Grill Platter (with beef, pork, chicken — ideal for 3–5 people) + a Piña Colada = instant vacation vibes 🌴. Perfect for those days when you just want to eat joyfully and leave fully satisfied! 🧡 Samba Brazilian Grill Brazilian churrascaria 🍖 — even better than Fogo de Chão in my opinion! The meats are perfectly grilled — don’t miss the red wine beef! Servers keep coming with skewers until you’re literally stuffed 🤣. 🧡 Red An upscale sushi spot 🍣 with beautiful plating and fresh ingredients. One of Madison’s few truly refined Japanese restaurants. Great for anniversaries, celebrations, or treating yourself — their steak is also amazing! 🧡 Bassett Street Brunch Club One of my favorite brunch places! Perfect for lazy weekends — their portions are huge and always satisfying 😌. Still mourning the closure of Short Stack Eatery though 😭… 🧡 Cento Another great Italian option! Their tiramisu is light and not too sweet — better than Porta Bella’s version imo. Solid mains and perfect for a romantic dinner 🍷. 🧡 The Harvey House A relaxed Western restaurant near the train station 🚂. No flashy menu — just honest, well-executed dishes. Great when you want a good meal without overthinking it. 🧡 Eno Vino Downtown Spanish-inspired restaurant with a view! Their window seats face the Capitol — best at sunset 🌇.
