Madison Japanese Restaurant | Sequoia 🍣🌲

The restaurant is called Sequoia, located near the “Tui De Jiu” area (likely a local reference). The vibe inside is really nice — if you love sushi, I’d definitely recommend this place! 👍 (There’s also one near the Capitol I haven’t tried yet.) Below is what we ordered: One of the specialty sushi rolls — named Vilas Sunrise! 🌅 I chose it because the name sounded pretty, and thankfully there was no avocado inside 🥑🙏. The other two were classic sushi — one larger plate might’ve been a California Roll? Sorry, can’t remember the name exactly~ 😅 For appetizers, we got: Pork Buns (2 pieces) — delicious! 🥢🍖 Fried Shrimp — a bit too salty for me 🍤🧂, just okay. No shade to other spots, but if you’re really craving Japanese sushi, compared to the M Restaurant in Hilldale, I’d recommend this place more 🏆.
