Today I tried The Statehouse β a brunch spot not many have shared about on Xiaohongshu! Located inside the Edgewater Hotel, itβs only open for brunch on weekends. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Lake Mendota ππ. It was windy today, so the outdoor terrace was closed. π₯ Madison Sourdough Brunch Toast β HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thick-cut sourdough from local bakery Madison Sourdough β crispy outside, fluffy inside. First you taste the wholesome bread, then hints of honey, fruit, floral notes, and rich cheese unfold π―π§. Layered and delicious β the best dish of the day! π³ Sunrise Benedict Perfectly poached eggs with thyme hollandaise, spinach, and roasted cherry tomatoes π₯π . Savory, clean, and well-balanced. π₯ Avocado Toast Pretty basicβ¦ letβs just skip this one π πΈ Brunch Cocktails were also great: ROSEMARY PEACH BELLINI β refreshing and fruity π IRISH CARAJILLO MARTINI β smooth blend of coffee and alcohol βπΈ Both delicious β no regrets!
