Weekend Girls’ Out: Exploring This Middle Eastern Spot 🍢 I love trying new things, so my girlfriends and I hit up this Middle Eastern restaurant over the weekend—and it was such a fun food adventure! ✨ 1. Arabic Tea 🍃 I ordered it purely because it looked authentic, wanting to try the traditional Arabic tea-drinking experience. You can add mint, sugar, and sage to the Ceylon black tea. It’s cooling and cuts through grease, with a unique sweet herbal aroma. 💔 My take: It was just okay—tasted like regular tea from a tea bag, no rich tea flavor. Definitely a one-and-done for me. ✨ 2. Arabic Salad It’s like “dumpling filling salad”! It’s mostly chopped parsley mixed with tomatoes and cucumber 🥒. 💔 Heads up: If you don’t like parsley, stay away. It’s super fresh and healthy-tasting, but I still prefer my “unhealthy” salads with creamy dressings 🥗. ✨ 3. Arabic Cheese with Zaatar 🫓 Middle Eastern “za’atar pizza”—and it’s good! The bread is like a thicker naan: fluffy and soft. It’s topped with melted cheese 🧀, then sprinkled with sesame seeds and za’atar (a herby spice blend with thyme). The spices keep the cheese from feeling heavy or salty—such a nice combo. ✨ 4. Lamb Shish Kebab 🍖 It looks like it’d be tough to chew, but it’s surprisingly tender! So good—meat lovers will be happy. It’s served over basmati rice, which is fluffy and separate grain by grain. Solid side. ✨ 5. Shawarma Wrap 💗 My absolute favorite!! Warm, toasted flatbread rolled with grilled beef, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and garlic yogurt sauce. The meat is juicy and tender, and the wrap is salty, savory, and so satisfying. I could eat this every day! We also added fries 🍟—they’re delicious too! Seasoned with black pepper and other spices, so they have more flavor. Crispy outside, soft inside… but a little too salty if you eat a lot. ✨ 6. Mystery Dessert Roll (My Favorite!) I don’t know its name, but it’s a must-try! You can see all kinds of these rolls as soon as you walk in. The outside is chewy (QQ texture!) with pistachio crumbs, and the inside is chocolate-filled 🍫. Only con: The chocolate filling is way too sweet. If it were less sweet, it’d be perfect! I’ll try other flavors next time. #food #RestaurantsToRevisit #InternationalStudentEats #IrresistibleExoticFood
