Madison Night Market is BACK – And It Feels Like Home!

The night market finally opened today – and for the first time ever, there was a lamb skewer stand! One bite and I was instantly transported back to night markets in China 😭🇨🇳 🔥 Lamb Skewers: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SO. FREAKING. GOOD. Tender, juicy, with the perfect fat-to-lean ratio – zero gaminess! That familiar aroma, the dark sky, the chatter… it hit me right in the nostalgia 🥹💫 🥙 Roujiamo (Chinese Burger): ⭐⭐ The meat was flavorful and moist, and the “mo” bread was flakier than expected. But… why’d they add BBQ sauce?! 🫠 Totally not authentic – kinda confusing. Still decent, but not the classic taste I hoped for. 📝 Edit: Just checked the bill – the roujiamo wasn’t the best value.
