Madison State Street's Only Ramen Option? 🍜

Lately, when I’m around State Street and get a ramen craving, it feels like the only option left is Strings Ramen... Let’s be real—it’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not memorable either 🫤 The broth is lukewarm in flavor, the noodles are acceptable but lack springiness, and the chashu could be more tender. While it works in a pinch, it just doesn’t hit the spot like a truly great bowl of ramen should. I really miss those days when State Street was blooming with diverse ramen spots—each with its own special tonkotsu, shoyu, or miso twist 🌸 There was more innovation, better broths, and that authentic vibe you just don’t get here.
