Madison Thai Food Sharing 🥭
😋 My top three favorite Thai restaurants in Madison: Thai Basil Must-tries: 🍜 Drunken Noodles – Similar to stir-fried rice noodles but with a hint of herbal sweetness and mild spice. If you’re not a big fan of spicy food, go for spice level 3 or below. 🍍 Pineapple Fried Rice – Unique for its subtle curry flavor. I love it! Not spicy at all, so feel free to choose any spice level. 🍛 Yellow Curry – Rich and creamy, perfect with rice. You can confidently choose spice level 5 – it’s not too spicy. 🌱 Green Curry – Refreshing taste, but I’m not a huge fan of the green beans in it. Overall, I prefer the yellow curry. 🦐 Tom Yum Soup – Intense and addictive flavor. 🍗 Paradise Wings – My favorite fried chicken in Madison! The sauce is tangy and sweet, though the chicken itself can be a bit tough. 🥭 Mango Sticky Rice – Seasonal item. Call ahead to check if it’s available. The mango is sweet, and the rice is soft and cheesy – the best mango sticky rice among the three restaurants! Rising Sons Must-tries: 🥥 Coconut Chicken Noodle – The soup is creamy with a curry flavor, kinda like yellow instant noodle soup vibes. My absolute favorite! 🍜 Drunken Noodles – Tastes more like traditional Chinese stir-fried rice noodles without the sweet-spicy twist. 🍜 Kao Poun (probably) – A rice noodle dish with a similar taste to the coconut chicken noodle but with more herbs and peanuts. My second favorite! 🥭 Their mango sticky rice is pretty standard. You can order it if you’re craving it. Monsoon Siam Must-tries: 🦆 Red Curry Duck Leg – The curry is rich and slightly spicy, perfect with rice. The duck leg itself is just okay, but the dish is still highly recommended! 🍛 Chicken Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice are also good, but I personally prefer Thai Basil’s versions. 🥭 The mango sticky rice we ordered had overly ripe (almost black) mango. 🏠 Ambience: Thai Basil > Monsoon Siam > Rising Sons 💰 Price: Thai Basil ≈ Monsoon Siam > Rising Sons (But I seriously love Rising Sons’ noodles!) #UWMadison #Madison #ThaiFood #Foodie #RestaurantReviews
