🍲 Madtown Food Find | Authentic Korean Food on State Street

I personally think the flavors here are pretty solid!! Went with a friend and tried the following (around $20+ per person): 🌟 Bibimbap in Stone Pot Generous toppings and the sauce is on point. Classic bibimbap flavor—nothing too special, but reliably good! 🌟 Kimchi Fried Rice The portion is huge and the kimchi tastes fresh, though I prefer mine a bit more sour. This one’s great for those who like milder flavors. 🌟 Korean Steamed Egg (Gyeran-jjim) The seafood broth was flavorful, but the egg itself was a bit overcooked—not as soft and silky as the version you might find in some Chinese restaurants. Skip if you’re picky about texture. 🌟 Side dishes (Banchan) are complimentary! 🥢 They also serve tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and Army Stew (Budae-jjigae)—perfect for sharing with 3-4 people on a chilly day! ❄️👌 Located right near the Capitol side, close to Chase (can’t pin exactly but it’s around the location I marked!). 📍 Sol’s on the Square #CollegeLifeDiaries #MadisonEats #UWMadison #UniversityOfWisconsin #MadtownFoodGuide #KoreanFood #FoodReview #StudentLife 🎒🍚🔥
