📍 Maine | 3-Day Eating and Playing Guide for Acadia National Park

🌟🌟🌟For accommodation, choose from Bangor, Ellsworth, or Bar Harbor, with drive times to the park of about 1 hour, half an hour, and 10 minutes respectively. Bar Harbor is right inside the park. Traveling at the end of September, slightly before the peak of fall foliage, is already high season, and nearby hotels are fully booked with outrageous prices. I ended up staying in Bangor and commuting for three days, which wasn’t too tiring overall. 🌟🌟Locate the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, which is only open from May to October. You can park in the parking lot and then head into the visitor center to buy tickets and pick up a map. The information desk can provide a lot of suggestions for visiting. There are free shuttle buses inside the park that depart from the visitor center very punctually. By referencing the stop times at major stations, you can avoid driving into the park altogether, as parking at each attraction is limited. 🌟Hiking Trails Cadillac Mountain It’s the highest scenic mountain in the park. Get off at North Ridge and take the North Ridge Trail. It’s a 2-hour hike to the top with moderate difficulty, resting along the way. The descent is the same route, or you can take a private shuttle for $10 per person. Just ask the people at the gift shop on the summit for contact information. If you don’t want to walk, you can drive up, but you’ll need to buy an additional car ticket on the official website. You can buy tickets for the same day, and there’s a parking lot at the top. 🌟🌟Jordan Pond A must-visit, it’s beautiful! There’s a forest trail around the lake, which takes about 2 hours if you walk fast. There’s also a restaurant at the entrance where you can enjoy something to eat while looking at the lake and take a break. 🌟🌟🌟Sand Beach - Beehive Trail - Thunder Hole Get off at the beach stop and take the famous Beehive Trail, which can connect to The Bowl Trail - a small lake on the山顶. After descending, head towards Gorham Mountain Trail, and after climbing over Gorham Mountain Peak, the descent leads to Thunder Hole. After viewing, board the bus. The total forest hike takes about 3 hours with moderate difficulty. 🌟Restaurant Recommendations ❶ Jordan’s Cafe in Bar Harbor - Famous for its blueberry pancakes. ❷ Bar Harbor Lobster Pound - Offers a cost-effective lobster meal, with large lobsters and a bonfire campsite. ❸ Travelin Lobster Pound - The hot buttered lobster roll was the best I ate on this trip, with loads of lobster meat! Also, try the blueberry beer. Note the business hours; they close at 6 PM. #RecordTheMoment #WeekendGetaways #GetCloseToNature #ReportingFromTheScenery #TravelSnippets #Food #AmericanTravel #AcadiaNationalPark #ArcadiaNationalPark
