Malaga Treasure seafood food stall, I can eat it safely ❗❗

🦞 No Trip to Spain is Complete Without Seafood—Here’s Málaga’s Hidden Gem When in Spain, a seafood feast is non-negotiable. I tracked down this local-favorite spot in Málaga—packed during mealtimes, with crowds happily waiting in line. No paid promotion here—just honest praise for its delicious food and unbeatable value! 📍 Alaska Tavern ⭐ Rating: 4.5/5 💰 Price: €10–€20 per person 🏠 Address: Av de Europa, 44, Carretera de Cádiz, 29003 Málaga ⏰ Hours: Closed on Mondays Tue–Sat: 13:00–16:30, 20:00–23:30 Sun: 13:00–16:30 🦪 Must-Try Dishes: Giant Octopus – Coated in a light, crispy flour batter, the octopus itself is tender and springy, with juicy bites. Served with padrón peppers and a crunchy red vegetable side—equally tasty! Large Shellfish – Ordered individually (we got 4). Super fresh, tossed in olive oil, garlic sauce, and local paprika (mild, savory, not spicy). Fried Small Fish – Thinly coated in flour, huge portions, and incredibly fresh. Simply seasoned with a pinch of salt—letting the natural flavor shine. Fried Cod – We thought it’d be like crispy pork, but it’s flaky cod—bone-free! Similar to the fried small fish in seasoning, so skip if you’ve already ordered that and try something new. 📌 Pro Tips: There are two locations—the old one is likely closed. The new spot is an 8-minute drive away—don’t mix them up (we learned the hard way!). Arrive before opening if you can. We got there at 8 PM and scored a table, but by 8:20 PM, it was full—even locals with dogs waited in the rain! Staff speak limited English—point to pictures to order. We tried 4 dishes, and none disappointed. The mantis shrimp (on the menu cover) sold out, but feel free to experiment—safe bets all around. For two people, 3 dishes are enough—portions are huge! We had 4 dishes + 2 drinks for €55 and couldn’t finish. Love this? Follow for more—your support keeps the recommendations coming! Save this post so you don’t lose it.
