Mammoth Lake | Spots Worth Visiting Even If You Don’t Ski! 🏔️❄️
Crowley Lake Stone Columns A natural stone column forest discovered after a two-hour trek through the desert! 🏜️✨ Formed by volcanic lava eroded by lake water, wind, and rain—truly a remarkable sight! Note: Regular cars can’t drive all the way—it’s a 4-mile hike. We ran out of water but were saved by a kind uncle in a pickup truck! 🚚🥹 Hot Creek Geologic Site The hot springs are seriously scorching—hot enough to boil eggs! 🥚🔥 Surprisingly, there are still fish living in there! 🐟 The sulfur smell is strong and stings the eyes—mine teared up all night afterward 😭 Not suitable for soaking, but the views are stunning—worth a look! Mammoth Lake Lakes Group: Horseshoe Lake, Lake Mary, Twin Lakes Though not huge, these alpine lakes are incredibly beautiful! 💙🏞️ Perfect for renting a kayak and paddling around! 🛶 #MammothLake #MammothHotSprings #MammothLakeCA #NearLosAngeles #NearSanFrancisco #NatureLovers #RoadTrip #ExploreCalifornia #AlpineLakes #HotSprings #StoneColumns #AdventureTime
