Manila Food Recommendation | Wild Flour Restaurant
🌹I’ve always heard from friends that this place is super popular, so I decided to check it out over the weekend. In one sentence: it was worth it! Every dish we tried was delicious. 🌹Stir-fried Chicken (Highly Recommended) Extremely juicy and flavorful, with a burst of flavor in every bite. It perfectly matched my taste. The dish comes with mushrooms, green peppers, and zucchini, all of which were fresh and tender. A must-order! 🌹Kimchi Beef Rice (Highly Recommended) The kimchi has a slight tanginess and retains the natural color of the cabbage, without the overly sweet taste often found in Korean versions. The beef was tender and melted in your mouth, with occasional bits of tendon for texture. The rice was soaked in the beef’s savory sauce and topped with a fried egg 🍳. We opted for the "over medium" style, which we prefer, and my friend and I finished the entire bowl in no time. 🌹Squid Ink Pasta (Highly Recommended) Honestly, I’ve never tried this dish back home, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious. Finally, a pasta that’s not just tomato sauce-based! The pasta had a nice chewiness to it, almost like northern Chinese-style hand-pulled noodles. Drinks 🥤 I ordered the celery-pineapple juice. The staff mentioned that all their juices are freshly squeezed, which explains the higher price, but it’s totally worth it. Highly recommend trying it. Rose Cheesecake 🍰 We ended the meal with this dessert. The rich cheesecake had a subtle rose 🌹 fragrance and wasn’t overly heavy. It contained large chunks of cheese and was only slightly sweet. Definitely give it a try! #HappyFoodie #ManilaPhilippines #Manila #OverseasLife
