Matanuska Glacier in Anchorage π§
So beautiful, so breathtaking, so unreal! βοΈ Throughout the entire tour, I kept marveling at how unbelievably stunning this place is β nature is truly magical! β¨ We were lucky to visit on a clear sunny day, and the views felt almost surreal. I booked our spots in advance on the official website β you can reserve via text or call βοΈ. π° Cost: $150 per person π The glacier is about a 2-hour drive from Anchorage π There are four time slots daily: 10 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, and 2 PM. After booking, you can adjust your time flexibly based on availability. β οΈ Make sure to arrive 30 minutes early for check-in, gearing up, and the snowmobile ride into the glacier. The whole tour lasts around 2 hours with plenty of stops for photos πΈ and guide explanations β not too tiring at all! π§ Crampons are provided β no need to bring your own. π Wear waterproof shoes and ideally waterproof gloves 𧀠πΆ Donβt forget sunglasses! The sun can be blindingly bright on a sunny day. (All details and recommended gear are clearly explained in the confirmation message after booking.) I originally had my eyes on the highly recommended helicopter tour by Sheep Lodge π, but unfortunately, it was fully booked on our chosen date. Still, Iβm so glad we ended up coming here β what a wonderful surprise! Would absolutely love to explore more glaciers next time we visit! #LifeInNorthAmerica #USA #Alaska #AlaskaTravel #VisitAlaska #Anchorage #AnchorageGuide #GlacierAdventure βοΈποΈπ€©
